This exclusive highland single malt scotch whisky commemorates the 50th anniversary of John Grant’s entry into the industry, a pivotal moment for the chairman and family member. Limited to just 836 bottles, this single malt is a genuine rarity. Housed in individually engraved Glencairn bottles presented in exquisite packaging, each bottle showcases a captivating copper hue reminiscent of the impressive stills at the distillery.
Personally chosen for bottling by Distillery Manager Callum Fraser and Managing Director Douglas Belford, this whisky pays homage to the craftsmanship of the distillery team half a century ago, under the leadership of then Distillery Manager Douglas MacDonald. Distilled during the tenure of John’s father, George Grant, this malt reveals marzipan, almond, and cedar wood notes on the nose, complemented by a sweet and smoky undertone that transitions into hints of stewed apples and dark chocolate. On the palate, the indulgent velvety dark chocolate notes lead to flavors of treacle toffee, mixed peel, and a subtly smoky, sweet taste, remarkably smooth for a single malt of this age.
