Now labelled from their date of release rather than the date of distillation, the newly packaged Macallan 30 follows a long tradition being matured in hand-picked oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for added richness and complexity. Sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eye of Macallan’s Master of Wood, these hand-picked casks are delivered to the demanding specifications of the Macallan team. The result is a hefty sherry matured malt and the richest in the range, laden with dried fruits, sherry, orange and wood smoke.
