Glendronach 1971 33 YO Oloroso Sherry Oak

An exceptionally special bottling of Glendronach, this edition was distilled in 1971 and aged for 33 years in Oloroso sherry casks. A highly limited 2004 edition, this release scored exceptionally highly with reviewers and received 95 points from Jim Murray. This edition was distilled just before Allied Breweries purchased Teachers, the owners of Glendronach, in 1976. Teacher’s primarily used bourbon casks for Glendronach’s maturation so to see high quality Oloroso matured Glendronach from the 1970’s is a true rarity.
