Karuizawa 36 Views of Mount Fuji 7th Release

DESCRIPTION

Karuizawa is the gold standard of rare Japanese whisky. The distillery closed its doors in 2011, although it had not been producing whisky for over a decade. Karuizawa Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji is a series of landscape prints by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. This particular Bay of Noboto Seventh Edition label is a 1999 and 2000 at cask strength vintage bottle. Being a silent distillery, everything from Karuizawa is a rare collector’s whisky! Karuizawa 36 Views of Mount Fuji – Bay of Noboto Label (Batch 7) Whisky Tasting Notes Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice. Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish. Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.
