Construction on the King Car distillery began in 2005. Master Blender Ian Chang along with world renowned whisky consultant Dr Jim Swan collaborated together to oversee the distilleries vision.The Kavalan Fino being named Asian Whisky of the Year 2013, and The Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique being named 2015 World Whisky of the Year’ Kavalan Solist Pedro Ximenez Sherry Single Malt Whisky is one of the classic collection of Kavalan whisky. The new make spirit which matures in the PX sherry casks produces unique and special characters and flavours with the classic fruity, nutty and chocolate aromas that are distinctive and phenomenal!   Nose: Red fruits explode on the nose, raspberries, strawberries, red currants and cranberries. Garden herbs, dark fruits of raisins and sultanas. Plum jam, fresh oak and toffee. Palate: Red fruits, dark fruits, balanced oak, Christmas cake spices, citrus and vanilla toffee. Finish: Strawberries, vanilla, dark chocolate and toffee sweetness.
