A complex expression created from fewer than 20 casks laid down in 1989 and earlier years, the 30 Year Old Spring 2019 Release is the rarefied result of a trio of different cask types. Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion took the unusual step of bringing together first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak casks, first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks and refill casks. Bottled at 45.7% ABV, it exudes notes of aromatic spices, dark chocolate orange and the characteristic fudge sweetness.
