Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch 8

A tribute to a Glengoyne tradition that lasted until the 1970s, when distillery workers enjoyed a daily dram ? not raw spirit like most, but a generous pour from a Years Oldung, flavour-packed sherry cask. This practice earned its nickname when ?three fingers? became more than generous, thanks to one broad-handed colleague, and whisky began being served from a small copper teapot instead.

Batch No. 008 honours that legacy with a limited Release of just 3,000 bottles, matured exclusively in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, un-chillfiltered and bottled at cask strength 59% ABV.
