Glenfarclas 1966 Cask

Distilled in 1966 and bottled from a sherry butt in Spring 2017release. It surpasses the fifty-year mark and stands out as one of the earliest Family Cask bottlings managed to secure so far. This particular bottle, hailing from 1966 (though a 1954 version is available for $20K for those with a preference), is likely among the distillery’s last remaining stocks from that era. It’s not just any whisky; it’s an investment-grade spirit, a coveted gem for collectors and premium bars alike. Single malts of this caliber consistently defy expectations, increasing in value and becoming cherished assets for a select few.
For those daring enough to crack open the bottle, be prepared for a bold and slightly untamed experience compared to many contemporary Glenfarclas whiskies. Yet, it promises an incredibly rich sherry-infused journey that sets a benchmark for well-aged Speyside malts. With a meager outturn of 146 bottles, we have only two available.
