An intimate evening unfolded at The Private Kitchen, where guests were invited into the world of The Dalmore—a distillery defined by precision, heritage, and an uncompromising pursuit of cask excellence.

Guided by Brand Ambassador Josh, the experience moved beyond a traditional tasting, becoming a sensory narrative shaped by craftsmanship, time, and the art of maturation. Through each pour, guests were led through Dalmore’s signature philosophy, where spirit and wood converge to create layers of depth, structure, and quiet opulence.

TASTING JOURNEY

Welcome Drink – Dalmore 12 Y.O Sherry Cask Highball
The evening opened with a refined highball, lifting the richness of Dalmore 12 Year Old into a brighter register. Effervescence carried notes of citrus, dark chocolate, and gentle spice, offering a contemporary and elegant prelude.

Dalmore Port Wood Reserve
Finished in rare Tawny Port pipes, this expression revealed a softer, more rounded character. Red berries and plum unfolded alongside caramel sweetness, balanced by a subtle warmth that lingered with restraint.

Dalmore 18 Y.O
A deeper register emerged, where extended maturation and Oloroso sherry casks brought structure and gravitas. Layers of dark chocolate, espresso, and dried fruit intertwined, delivering a profile both powerful and composed.

Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve
Rich, expansive, and deliberately bold, this expression carried notes of tropical fruit, vanilla, and warming spice. Designed to accompany a cigar, it stood as a statement of intensity without sacrificing balance.

Dalmore King Alexander III
The evening culminated in Dalmore’s iconic multi-cask expression, matured across six exceptional cask types. A seamless composition of flavours—stone fruit, spice, chocolate, and oak—demonstrated the distillery’s mastery in orchestrating complexity with precision.
